I’m an IT talent acquisition professional based in Perth. I’ve recruited for IT roles both in-house at an IT company and for external clients, and I’ve worked in employee relations, so I’ve seen hiring from the employer’s side as well as the candidate’s.
I’ve filled roles across service desk and IT support, systems and network engineering, software development, solutions architecture, cyber security, GRC, project management and business analysis. The same problems come up again and again: capable people undersell what they’ve done, bury their best work on page three, or describe it in a way a hiring manager can’t quickly connect to the job.
Career Sharp is how I help with that from the other side of the desk. I review and write IT resumes, help people plan their job search and LinkedIn presence, and coach them for interviews. I also work with people who are new to the Australian job market and with IT contractors.
